
Chude Jideonwo
Chude Jideonwo is an award-winning author, TV host, filmmaker, investor, and media entrepreneur whose 25-year career spans advertising, public relations, television, radio, print, and digital media. As co-founder and CEO of RED | For Africa, Chude crafted and led strategies that fueled social movements and national elections across multiple African countries, earning RED the African Business of the Year award alongside Dangote Group and Chandaria Industries. In 2016, he transitioned to a new mission, founding Joy, Inc., a human flourishing company that partners with organizations like Ford Motor Company and the Lagos State Government to promote mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. In 2020, he launched #WithChude, a viral podcast featuring deeply personal conversations with African leaders and celebrities, now syndicated across five regional networks and streaming exclusively on withChude.com. Chude has taught media and communication at Pan-Atlantic University and advised global organizations, including Meta, Google, the Gates Foundation, the African Union, and the UK & US governments, on media strategy, democracy, and human rights. His achievements include being named a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, CNBC Young Business Leader of the Year, Archbishop Desmond Tutu Fellow, and Yale University World Fellow. He has served on boards such as Microsoft 4Afrika, the Oando Foundation, and The Initiative for Equal Rights (TIERs), where he is the current chair. As a filmmaker, his documentaries have won Best Documentary at the Africa International Film Festival and the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards. In 2024, he was appointed Creative-In-Residence at the London School of Economics. His upcoming book, How Depression Saved My Life, will be published in April 2025.
