Anthony Chovwen

Anthony Chovwen is a Research and Development Consultant, who interface with national and multinational organizations, especially the IOCs, for the corporate achievement of the SDGs. His core programming areas include enterprise & business development, technical research, impact assessment and socio investment. He has mentored and severed as business coach to over 218 SMEs established over the years as part of IOCs social investments and organized the first ever and only National Livewire workshop (a flagship enterprise development programme of SPDC). He recently concluded the highly innovative Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Program (TEP) for Delta State. He conducted the Rivers State Labour Market Assessment sponsored by British Council/DFID in 2017 and the Labour Market Assessment for Delta State founded by Chevron and Ford Foundation in 2021. Dr Chovwen had worked earlier as Research Fellow in IITA and Project Coordinator, UNDP, Millennium Villages Program. He holds a PhD in Development Communication. He is married to Prof. Catherine Chovwen and are blessed with 2 children.
