Modupe Ehirim

Modupe Ehirim is the Founder and Lead Counselor at The Right Fit Marriage Academy, dedicated to helping individuals become the kind of spouse their partner is excited to come home to. A graduate of Chemical Engineering with First Class Honours from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) in 1980, Modupe spent 17 years working in the Central Bank of Nigeria’s Building and Engineering Services. She later ran a retail book business in Enugu for 13 years and served as President of the Christian Booksellers Association Nigeria (CBAN) and Vice President of NECA’s Network of Entrepreneurial Women (NNEW). She is on the board of OASIS International Limited, publishers of the Africa Study Bible, and chairs the Board of Africa Speaks 2018 Trust, which promotes a sustainable Christian publishing industry in Africa. A Certified SYMBIS (Save Your Marriage Before It Starts) Facilitator and Certified Family Systems Engineering Practitioner, Modupe teaches marriage-related topics in a 21,000-member Facebook community and on Mama’s Korner, a weekly relationship and marriage show on WaZoBia 95.1 FM Radio. She is the author of Marriage is NOT a Trap, 30 Reasons Why Couples Quarrel About Money, and Couples Connect: A Workbook for Assessing and Enhancing Your Marriage. She also created the Get Yourself Ready for Marriage 12-week group coaching program to help singles prepare for choosing the right partner. Married for 39 years in an inter-ethnic, dual-career marriage, Modupe and her husband have four children. Her life and work focus on equipping individuals and couples with the knowledge and skills to build strong, fulfilling marriages.
