Princewill Chukwuemeka Stanley

Princewill Chukwuemeka Stanley is a Professor of Mental Health. He obtained Bachelor of Medical Sciences, in Pharmacology in 1985 and MBBS in 1988 from University of Port Harcourt Started Postgraduate Residency programme in Jos University Teaching Hospital in 1992. In April 1997 he obtained the Fellowship of West African College of Physicians (in Psychiatry) and subsequently the Fellowship of the National College in Psychiatry. An expert in drugs and Substance Abuse and has attracted a UNODC treatment Centre for Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre, at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital. He was recently honoured with Doctor of Medicine award by National Postgraduate Medical College in November 2023 in recognition of his academic and research excellence. Currently, he has published 105 scientific papers in peer review scientific journal globally He is married to Prof. (Mrs.) Catherine N. Stanley a Professor of Pharmaceutical Microbiology at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences University of Port Harcourt, with 5 children. Above all, he is a devout Christian, Patron to most of the Campus Fellowships including, CMDA (Student Arm), CASOR, MFM, and JCCF. Has remained the Chairman of Men of Valour in his Rumuigbo Regional Church for the past 10 years.
