Olumide Ogunade (ID Cabasa)

Olumide Ogunade, popularly known as ID Cabasa, is a renowned Nigerian music producer, singer, and record executive. Born on July 29, 1975, in Lagos State, Nigeria, he is best known as the founder of Coded Tunes, a record label that played a crucial role in launching the careers of top Nigerian artists, including Olamide, 9ice, and Reminisce. ID Cabasa began his music journey in the late 1980s and has been active in the industry since 1995. He holds a degree in Economics from Lagos State University and later earned a Master’s degree in Management Economics from the University of Lagos. Before fully committing to music, he briefly worked in the banking sector. His production style, blending Afrobeats, Afropop, and hip-hop influences, has made him a highly sought-after producer. Over the years, he has collaborated with top artists such as Wizkid, Fireboy DML, Odumodublvck, BOJ, and Joeboy. With his continued influence in shaping Nigeria’s music industry, ID Cabasa remains a pioneer in contemporary Nigerian music production, consistently working on groundbreaking projects that push the boundaries of Afrobeats and Afropop.
